Our Standard
Every article published on Astromata.com is written by a practicing Vedic astrologer with a minimum of 5 years of full-time practice. Articles are reviewed for factual accuracy against classical source texts before publication.
Primary Source Texts
All astrological interpretations are grounded in classical Vedic texts, primarily the Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra (BPHS). When a chapter or verse is cited, it has been verified against the source. Interpretations from modern websites that are not traceable to a classical source are not used.
Planetary Calculations
All planetary positions are calculated using the Swiss Ephemeris with Lahiri (Citrapakṣa) Ayanāṁśa. This is the same calculation engine used by professional astronomical observatories. We do not use simplified mobile app calculations.
Important Disclaimer
All content on Astromata.com is spiritual guidance based on classical Vedic astrology. It is not medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Predictions describe tendencies and timing based on planetary positions — they do not determine fate. You retain full free will and responsibility for all life decisions.
Content Updates
Time-sensitive articles (Saturn transit, Jupiter transit) are reviewed and updated quarterly. Reader questions that reveal errors or gaps are addressed within 30 days. Update dates are displayed prominently on each article.
